You will receive a $35 rebate for each working refrigerator, mini-fridge or freezer recycled. In-unit pickup or curbside pickup are both available. Larger, commercial appliances (>30 cubic feet) do not qualify. See size requirements below.

Small appliance recycling

You will receive a $15 rebate for each working dehumidifier, mini fridge or room A/C recycled. Small appliances must be paired with a large appliance (refrigerator or freezer) for pickup. Alternatively, you may recycle individual small appliances at our community recycling events.

Is my large appliance the correct size to recycle?

Determine if your old refrigerator, mini-fridge or freezer is eligible for our recycling program. Your unit must be in working condition and be between 10 and 30 cubic feet in size. 

Measure the width of the inside of your fridge in inches

1. Measure the width of the inside of your fridge in inches.

Measure the depth of the inside of your fridge in inches

2. Measure the depth of the inside of your fridge in inches.

Measure the height of the inside of your fridge in inches

3. Measure the height of the inside of your fridge in inches.

How to Measure Your Fridge

Measure the interior of your refrigerator in inches:

Width × Depth × Height

Then divide the total by 1,728 to convert cubic inches into cubic feet.

Program Requirement:
If your fridge measures between 10 and 30 cubic feet, your unit may qualify for a large appliance pickup and rebate.
